10:24pm, Tuesday, Dec. 22nd

Tonight Mom and Dad got home around 7:30....finally. Tears of joy and relief filled the house as we all welcomed them home for the first time in 2 1/2 weeks! It makes us all so happy that we can spend Christmas together at home. As you can imagine Mom wasn't in the cooking mood so we dined over the best Chinese Food dinner we've had in a long time. Tomorrow Dad has a Pet Scan, by orders of the doctors in Tampa. As this case continues to become more and more rare, they insist on continuing to search a few other angles as it would be irresponsible to do anything but. Monday, they will drive back up to Tampa to meet with Dr. Rosemurgy to discuss the results. There is still a "mass" blocking the bile ducts so we need to consider everything. Now that he is discharged we can send his file to Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, etc. Thank you all for your kind comments and keep up the prayers as there is still a long road ahead.

  3. Merry Almost Christmas! Sure it felt like the big day just to be home as a family with no too revealing hospital gowns, nurses with their needles and
"wake-ups" in the middle of the night to check if your "okay". Enjoy!

  4. Jimbo -- Welcome home big guy! I'm looking forward to a new picture of you poolside sipping a cold one.

Merry Christmas to you and Debbie and the boys. Your being there is surely the best Christmas present they could ever want to receive.

We continue to pray for you. Our church has a Wednesday early AM men's prayer time and I brought your situation to their attention today for prayer.

I pray that you will feel yourself firmly in His hand and that the wisdom you need to make tough decisions will flow directly from Him.

    Blessings, Rudi
