from Debbie

What a nightmare. But knowing this enormous web of friends is praying for us and keeping us in your hearts makes me feel stronger. Sometimes I feel it is a bad dream and I will wake up and find that none of this is even real. My boys are my rock. It makes me so proud to see them take control and "do what Jim would do for us"...we will continue to search every avenue no matter where it takes us. We love you all. We are constantly updating Jim whenever anyone contacts us and you have no idea how it warms his heart. He seems better tonight. He is actually talking with the boys about how bad the Browns suck. His procedure on Friday will tell us what our next step will be. Know that the Ruttenberg twins are not giving up! They are awesome. Good night all. Deb

  4. When we arrived this morning to see Jim with a tray of food in front of him, I was happy. However the Nurse said his white blood count is up and they are fearing an infection. They said if they cannot lower the count they will postpone the second procedure which is scheduled for tommorrow. The boys and Jim are, at present, walking up and down the halls which they told him to do regularly.Probably antibiotics will help. He is still in a lot of pain from the procedure on Tuesday late afternoon. He is getting so antsy as you all can understand knowing Jim the way he is. I will continue to keep you all posted. And lets just pray they can get that ugly tumor out of there. Until later...Deb

    Jim, Deb, Matt and Brad,

You are in my daily thoughts and prayers. I am so glad to hear that you have such a great doctor. Of course, we wish you were closer so that we could lend more support.

Tell Jim I know the food is probably not very "appealing" and to make sure to eat an extra banana.
