Monday, 10:04 am from Jim

Hey everybody, just wanted to let everyone know that Matt, Brad and Deb have been reading everyone's comments everyday. Always good for a little chuckle or a smirk!Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I thank God that I have so many good friends. Just been resting here in the ICU. They are taking great care of me. No procedures on Mondays I guess, they will review the films today and tomorrow to make the decision whether or not they can operate. Love you all.

  1. Hi Jim. Good to see you on the computer. We're all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers up here in the cold North. The lottery is up to $118 million for Tuesday, and I keep putting you in, so maybe this will be the time?
What do you think about the whole Tiger thing? I think I'm in mourning for him, either that, or I am one of his "ladies" when he comes to Ohio???

  2. God it's good to hear from you, Jim! Makes my day just knowing you're on the computer....isn't it amazing how large your "army" is? Who knew?
Hope to see you this week, barring any ice storms or &*%^&$% here in KC. Hugs to all, Bonnie

  3. Hey Rutt:

Great to hear from the man himself (not that I don't like reading what Deb and the boys post). The prayer train from Stow keeps rolling. You've got 2 months to get well for KW! At the club last week a retired Stow firefighter (Earl) said to wish you well. Apparently, he didn't know you well, because he had all sorts of nice things to say about you (just kidding - about the knowing you well part). We're all pulling for you, partner.

  4. Hey Jim,
Chuck and I have the Georgia brigade praying for you too! Time for you to get back to the Cape so we can go boating! We've been following Deb's and your son's postings. We're praying they'll be able to operate and you and Chuck can golf again soon.

  6. Hi Jim, it is really great to hear from you. This blog is great, we don't have to drive Deb crazy for updates. Hurry up and get better, we have lots of boating and golf to do. I really want to tell you "It's just great to be here" but I can't really say that about where you are right now, so get out of there!

  8. Hey Jim;
Just heard about your problem Friday night at the "golf group" get together. Sounds like things are heading in the right direction. Glad to hear they're taking good care of you, wouldn't want to have to come down there and set them straight. Certainly hope you get on the mend in a hurry, we have cigars and scotch to do when we get down there. Are thougts and prayers are with you. See you soon and keep up the great info on the blog.

  15. Hey Rutt -- Great to see you doing your own posts for a change.

I thought I'd remind you that we're playing in the Waterlefe Member/Guest on March 5-7, so I need you to GET WELL SOON!

Barbara and I have been back in NJ for 3 weeks now and I only have 2 more weeks of my "sentence" to serve. We leave for Florida on December 29th, with a stopover in Jacksonville to spend a few days with Denny and Mary Helen. Expect to pull in our driveway in Bradenton on January 2nd.

We're going through a mini-heat wave in NJ today -- it must have gotten all the way up to 45 degrees! I thought about wearing shorts to the office to celebrate. Man, I hate the cold.

GOD bless, my friend. We're praying about tomorrow's news. -- Rudi

  17. Jim, talk about giving you a chuckle, it took me 20mins to figure out how to "blog" and that was with Jacks help! Im an idiot! Deb's been keeping me updated with the nice easy phone, my preferred way to communicate, for sure. I know I sound like Im 80. Send me a message if you need any tips for torturing nurses! Love you, Susan

  18. James-wow it's great to hear from you, glad they are taking good care of you. If you get really bored you can start asking those docs and nurses if they know how much a hen weighs-if they get it wrong- we'll know that you're in good hands. Thinking of all of you, keeping all in our thoughts and prayers-we've got the prayer chain going strong! You know this is a little drastic to find out how many friends you really have, lol. Can't wait for that message that tells us you are up and dancing agian.

  22. Jim, Debbie & guys...

Boy if each one of your friends could take just an ounce of this burden on ourselves...you'd be relieved of all your struggles in about 10 minutes! We're sending our best with a lot of prayers to all of you. We all believe good things will come for the power of our prayers. Get well soon...we want to see you on the golf course again!
